B&B ART; a warm piece of Tuscany in the heart of the Chianti region
B&B ART is a charming bed & breakfast conveniently situated in the city centre of San Casciano Val di Pesa, an ancient roman city located in the heart of the Chianti region, close to Florence.
San Casciano is the northern door of the Chianti region, the first place we come to following the Florence - Siena motorway of the Via Cassia (SS2) from the highway exit of Firenze Impruneta. At an altitude of 310 metres, San Casciano dominates the valleys of the rivers Greve and Pesa, in a magnificent hilltop position. The landscape all around is characterised by a continuous alternation of valleys and gentle hills cloaked in vineyards and olive trees. The entire surrounding area is scattered with medieval villages, churches and abbeys, ancient villas and castles.
We have bedrooms and apartments (also called Junior Suites), each one unique and distinguished by wood-beam ceilings and by terracotta tiled floors. The prestigious furniture and the elegant upholstery are original and carefully chosen for each room.
Our rich continental breakfast, based on fresh local products, is served from 8am until 10am in a beautifully sun lit room on the first floor.
