Carassai surroundings and activities The complex isAbout the farmhouse complex and the accommodation The complex is located in the middle of a 70 acre estate cultivated with olive groves and vineyards. The farmhouse was renovated paying attention to the antique terracotta features and exposed brickwork. The hallway and bedrooms are given an original twist by the wooden stairs and ceilings, which with their warm colours create a welcoming atmosphere. In the restaurant, the imposing chestnut beams, antique arches and terracotta flooring, along with the large fireplace, create a unique area. A cosy, exquisitly furnished tea and breakfast room is also available for use just off the hallway. The six spacious bedrooms all have en-suites enriched by mosaics and sloped wooden ceilings, wrought-iron beds and antique furniture. In the farmhouse restaurant one can taste the typical flavours of the Marche cooking, prepared in a simple and traditional way. Some of the bedrooms and studios have direct access to the terrace surrounded by olive trees and by the essences of flowers and fields. Guests are welcome to sunbathe on the terrace or rest and dry off on the loungers after a day at the beach, sipping on cocktails. The rustic annex, with its wood-fired oven, only a few metres away from the decking, enables the preparation of delicious game, wild boar, lamb and mutton roasts that can be enjoyed while soaking up the unique views in the light sea breeze. located within easy reach of the beaches and the sea of the Riviera delle Palme, near the attractions of Cupramarittima, Porto San Giorgio, Grottammare, and San Benedetto. Our guests can choose between horse-back rides, bicycle excursions or on foot exploration of the surrounding fields and hills, to the nearby fortress of Rocca Montevarmine or the valleys of the Invernaccio mountain, with trips to the Sibillini Mountains, the Foce di Montemonaco or hiking on the Vettore mount up to the little volcanic lakes of Pilato and the Castelluccio plane, destination chosen by those who enjoy hand-gliding and para-gliding. The main attractions are the Conero riviera, Frasassi caves, visits to the surrounding medieval villages of Offida, the region's capital Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Recanati and the historic university town of Urbino. The calendar of town festivals in the many villages is extensively varied, from the polenta with snails festival to the fried tagliatelle, from mussels and clams to the lamb skewers, all the way to the autumn flavours of mushrooms, truffle and wild boar. Our farmhouse is guaranteed to provide the perfect relaxing get-away-from-it-all stay while keeping you entertained with breathtaking views, access to the local Adriatic beaches and ever present glorious food
